1969 396 375hp L78 4 Bolt Block (FACTORY JH) (VARIOUS SUFFIX & DATE CODES AVAIL)

  

This was a running engine out of a authentic 375hp L78 car. The engine had very little run time on it with a fresh rebuild which included grinding the crank and rehoning the block. What remains is the block and crankshaft. It can stay standard bore if one does not mind a little extra piston to wall clearance or I can help you have your standard bore pistons calico coated on the skirts. 030 for a totally fresh cylinder vs a re-ring.

This is to the best of our knowledge a factory stamp is T0205JH, not a restamp. So this was assembled by GM's Tonawanda plant February 5th, 1969.

However, you must be able to show some PROOF your car was originally a 375hp car if we are to VIN stamp it via documentation such as the original POP plate, original dealer paper work, original window sticker, or credible prior owner testimony affidavit or a certificate of authenticity from someone like Jerry MacNeish, Dottier, or Dale McIntosh! This was originally installed in a Willow Run built 1969 Nova, but we can stamp it for Chevelle, Camaro, or other application optional and additional cost.

I would also be willing to machine the block for you and or build it for an optional additional charge.
