These assembled Performer RPM 454-O High-Compression cylinder heads from Edelbrock are designed for use with Big Block Chevy engines. They feature unique oval intake ports that flow like rectangular ports but with a smaller size to provide exceptional throttle response.

Ideal for high-compression applications, these heads feature a 100cc chamber volume and come with ports profiled to increase air flow in a lightweight design. The heads are very nice for a high compression application being 100cc. They should work well for the application I'm building.

On each head one of the oil return orifices needs to be worked with a grinding tool to open it up a bit. The ports all look like some light sanding will clean up very nicely. Edelbrock should still offer the bare head 60429 these 60439's come with valves and springs which are not needed for my setup. Yes, I recommend this product.
